About

Malik Hamilton

FYRESYDE KITCHEN  is a blog about food, faith, and living.

More specifically it explores how our food choices and our faith choices often time intersect with our living choices.

Living with food is sometimes more complicated than it needs to be and sometimes genetics takes a hand and we find ourselves diagnosed diabetic, celiac, or otherwise.  Sometimes too we make the choice to go without something, for example meat.  Either way for most what, how, when, where, and why we eat is a big part of our lives.

Faith, for many, is just as big a part of life as food and sometimes twice as taboo.  But a rich and satisfying testimony of faith is just as important in life as a similarly defined meal.  Finding a way to live with food and faith that is fulfilling and meaningful is my goal.  I hope you will join me on my journey.
