There is a Place in Every Man's Soul

There is a place in every man’s soul that he alone can fill.
It can not be filled by family, friends, money, love, dreams, or success.
This place can not even be filled by God.
This  is the place where he accepts himself,
accepts all that he is, was, and will be.
It is the place where today is just what it needs to be.
It is the place where there is no care for tomorrow.
It is the place where he comes to know himself, to love himself, to be himself.
It is the place where he meets God.

This place will forever be a dark hollow place in a man’s soul.
It will be that place where he hates himself.
It is a place where he lives in sorrow and loneliness
for God is not welcome there unless the man is there
and God will not come there unless the man is there.

For there is a place in every man’s soul that he alone can fill.
